Writer & Director

Christopher McGruer

Christopher McGruer is a writer, director, and producer. He directed and produced According to Valentine (2016), an independent short film adapted from Allan Knee’s play, The St Valentine’s Day Massacre. Christopher’s direction of the play, Having Hope at Home (2017), was nominated for five awards, including Outstanding Direction, Best Visual Production, and Outstanding Sound Design, in out-of-festival adjudication by the Western Ontario Drama League Festival.
Main Cast

Jennifer MacKinnon

Jennifer has been presented with world-class opportunities and experiences that have helped mould her into the performer she is today. She has professional training in various dance styles including Highland, Classical Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Tap and Musical Theatre. In her competitive career, Jennifer received awards both nationally and internationally, most notably 3rd in North America for Solo Choreography (North American Sadie Simpson Scholarship, B.A.T.D.). Jennifer is a Full Member of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing. She is an instructor at The DanceRoom in Stayner, where she works with top-ranking competitive dancers.

Ben Davidson

Ben has had the good fortune to portray many characters on stage over the past 30+ years; Officer O’Hara (Arsenic and Old Lace), Frank Braddock (The Graduate), Vinny (The Odd Couple), Jigger (Carousel) and Sir Bedevere (Spamalot) to name a few. He has also appeared in several television commercials, two episodes of Fraud Squad (Discovery Channel), The Real Inglorious Bastards (Storyline Entertainment), The Gold Paddle (Evan Rissi) and his voice is heard in radio commercials throughout North America.
